We worked with the UK Head of Marketing to identify blind spots in the team, and put together a one day workshop to increase the effectiveness of the team dynamic.
All members were profiled using Insights Discovery, and exercises chosen to gain a better understanding of each other. Carrie facilitated discussion on recognising what was working well, and what changes needed to be made.
The team identified ongoing work to maintain momentum following the workshop.
Farm Vet Practice Team

The team comprised of a diverse group of individuals in their roles as Vets, Nurses, Technicians, Practice Managers and Receptionists. The work environment meant communication was often on phone or by message, therefore difficult to recognise how to land communications effectively. The workshop was designed to improve internal communication and increase collaboration.
Throughout the day we uncovered several frustrations that were simple to overcome using the tools the team gained during the workshop.
The team went away with a clear plan of action going forwards, and a greater understanding of one another

The company already utilised Insights Discovery as a common language, and in observing several meetings it became apparent some of the members had less of a voice in discussions, in particular when meetings were hybrid virtual and in person.
During a one day workshop strategies were put in place to prepare for meetings more effectively, giving everyone ample time to process information shared, and formulate their thoughts and views.
Those with more extrovert tendencies were made aware of the value of their introvert colleagues’ contributions , and a buddy process put in place to give everyone an equal voice.
